I am grateful (a poem)
I’m grateful for the fire I walked through—because it forged a woman the world could not break.
Grateful for every closed door, every heavy night, every scar—because they became my sacred teachings.
I was born a refugee, shaped by resilience, and called to heal. Gratitude isn’t just what I feel—it’s how I rise, how I serve, how I love.

I am grateful to have such a supportive family, who really tries to understand me and loves me despite how much I may complain about the trivial things in life. I appreciate every kindness in the form of words or actions. I know they have my back 100%. I am also grateful for some additional world stability. Who knew when writers and producers made the final mission impossible the plot would not be as far fetched as they originally intended in the movie!

I’m grateful for comedy and the laughter and joy the art form brings to the world. I’m grateful for friends and family who are there to share all of life’s moments with, big or small. I’m grateful for my health and able bodiedness that allows me to push forward in life.

I am so grateful to have an immediate family that I love and live with, a distant family that I love, a place to live in, the ability to do simple activities/exercises, the ability to eat regular food, have good health, the ability to sleep at night, the ability to drive a car and many more ……Thanks a million!!🤲

I am very much grateful for the variety in life and the moments that come and go and change. The moments vary in length and can be short or long. They can contain good times with happiness, or difficult times with sadness, but they change and that is the most beautiful. I am grateful for this variety because it enables me to understand the differences. If I don’t know the darkness of night, I won’t appreciate the brightness of the day. Almost all entities have an opposite to each other and that is how we learn and strive for brightness and the force of good. We know for sure that situations change too. Isn’t all this so beautiful ? It gives us hope and cancels our hopelessness. Thank you God for all the abundance that we have in our lives.🤲🏻 💕
